1. Dno't send Email as SMS Message.

Why so many dots?

WRONG WAY:
" i am fresh computer science enggr from madurai, i saw ur website and interest in linux.......
really, i m proud of ur dedication......
keep in touch....
urs friendly."
CORRECT WAY:
"I am a fresh Computer Science Engineer from Madurai. I saw your and interest in Linux. Really I am proud of your dedication. Keep in touch.Yours friendly"
CAPS : Shouting
Writing E-Mail Messages in all CAPS means that you are yelling or shouting.

- It should have Maximum quotes up to 3

TRIM your Mails

Avoid long and lengthy mail

you can use snip to Trim the Mail.
Use appropriate punctuation marks at appropriate spacing
+ Give space after using punctuation marks ("." / "," / "?" / ";" etc.)
+ Begin the naming words with CAPITAL letter.
+ Use I instead of "i".
No ATTACHMENTS!!
- Attachments to e-mail sent to mailing list is BAD
Don’t send Social Networking sites/Birthday invites
Add Sign Dash
- Through Sign Dash you can tell your name and provide your personal profile and also you can write what’s on your mind that you want to share to everyone else.
HOW TO ADD SIGN DASH IN YOUR MAIL?
- This is very simple process which you can easily add and save your Sign Dash for forever or you can change it in future whenever you desire to do so.
- GO to “Compose” new Email
- Click on “PEN” like symbol below near the send button

Now click on Manage signature which will take you to setting page
- In “General” go to signature and you can now add signature here.

Correct mistakes in the sentence
There are several software tools that are used to correct mistakes in a sentence:
- Gmail Inbuilt Feature : There is inbuilt feature of gmail which suggest correct sentence structure.
If you are unable to see this feature , go to gmail settings and enable all these settings:
- Grammarly: This software is a writing assistant that can help you improve your grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. It has both free and paid versions.
Grammarly runs on backend whenever we write and give us suggestions of correct word or better structure of sentence.
Mailing on Android
Searched so far but Gmail on android has no feature to send mail in plain text mode. But there are several ways to switch to PTM:
- Use desktop mode of Gmail but it is not an effeciant way for mailing on android.
- There are several alternative email clients you can use:
- K-9 app: K-9 Mail is a free and open-source email client that supports plain text mode. It’s lightweight and easy to use, with features like multi-account support, search functionality, and customizable notifications.
- Install K-9 app and register your Gmail here.
- Allow access to your mails.
- Go to sidebar, In dropdown menu choose settings.
- Go to your account and choose General settings .
- Select Plain Text Mode as default.
- But this is not the one Protonmail, Bluemail, Aquamail, Fairmail. Explore these alternative , we can replace K-9 if we found other one better.
